Dental implants can replace missing or broken teeth, replace dentures and loose teeth?

When you decide to make a significant investment in dental implants you want to be sure you will get the result you want. Whether you need a dental implant to replace a missing or broken tooth; to get rid of dentures or because your teeth are getting loose and you know there will be some missing teeth in the future; you want to be sure the money you are spending will get you the best result with no future problems.

Placing a dental implant can be a simple and successful procedure if the correct amount of time is taken to plan the placement of the dental implant. Ideal planning can only be accomplished by using a 3-dimensional picture. This 3-dimensional picture: called a CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) answers all the crucial questions about implant placement. Is there enough bone? What kind of bone is it? Are there any critical anatomical structures at the implant site?

Using this CBCT picture and specialized software implants can be placed in the computerized picture before they are placed at the surgical appointment. Each implant can be ideally placed and that position can be replicated at the time of surgery by using a surgical guide to locate the implant at the ideal position.

Investing time and money in the crucial planning stage will minimize future complications at the surgical and prosthetic components of the dental implant placement.
